Der Patch war ja auch ne schwere Geburt.

Dear Eraser and Zyankali I need some help now. I'm doing the same patch but for the French version, I have done some work but couldn't change the English strings to French. I tried using x32dbg to do a nocd patch but still not successful, I also tried changing all hex values in the text to french one in HxD, but that just rendered the whole EXE lost its executive status and can no longer function. I understand why you said it's a difficult task now.

I'm looking through all strings now but haven't got any idea yet I would appreciate your help and thanks in advance!

In 2022: It's easy to dump the EXE (.text section is encrypted) with x32dbg and Scylla BUT you need to fix all Imports (over 1500) step-by-step.

So how did GOG did it for their release, is it the same procedure? Can I use any part from the GOG exe?

GOG uses a crack (1.01 from FLTDOX a.k.a. Fairlight) with small improvements.

It's not possible.

I've seen webpages mentioning about FLTDOX/FDX no-cd Patch but couldn't find it anywhere. Guess it has to be cracked the hard way.
