Altes Spiel läuft einfach nicht mit Windows 10

    VGA Monitor angeschlossen ohne Adapter,die Grafikkarte hatte noch einen VGA Anschluss.

    1280x1024 Auflösung,2.Bildschirm hab ich de-aktiviert.

      


    Keine Veränderung,aber jetzt weiss ich wenigstens definitiv,das es an Windows 11 liegt und bei mir das Spiel nicht laufen wird. :person_shrugging:

    Ich hab richtig Pech mit Blood 2: bekomm es einfach nicht zum Laufen, egal was ich probiere. Dafür könnte ich ja mal meinen Pentium 4 bemühen.... :/

    Genau das wäre auch mein letzter Ausweg gewesen. Einen XP-Rechner besorgen.

    Alternativ müsste es doch aber auch möglich sein, neben Windows 10/11, ein zweites Betriebssystem mit XP auf seinem aktuellen Rechner zu installieren um dort dann die alten Spiele zu zocken?

    Oder irre ich da?

    Ja, für mich auch. Ich habe in DxWnd für das Spiel folgende Einstellung gewählt:

    Im Spiel diese (man sieht auch gleich das Ergebnis der Einstellung bei DxWnd):

    Die Native Auflösung des Bildschirms ist: 2560 x 1080. Wenn ich mit Antialiasing auf 16x gehe, bekomme ich auch einen Fehlermeldung.

    Ich denke, da wirst du an den Treiber für XP scheitern. Für neue Hardware wird es da keine mehr geben.

    Ab und zu gibt es so ein Spiel, dass einfach nicht laufen will... Ich tippe drauf, dass es was mit meiner Hardware zu tun hat. Denn den Rechner hab ich seit 2018 und hab Blood 2 seitdem nie zum Laufen bekommen. Nicht auf Win11, 10 und auch nicht 7.

    Zumindest hat es im Software-Modus mit geringer Auflösung gelaufen. War aber wirklich nicht schön und spielbar, aber jetzt läuft es überhaupt nicht! Hab verschiedene Guides ausprobiert und auch mal selbst variiert, aber läuft einfach nicht :face_with_steam_from_nose:

    Unterstützt sogar meine Auflösung 2560x1440. 8|

    Vermutlich so überrascht wie ich, dass ich GTA 1 genauso zum Laufen bekam: CD rein, installiert ohne Kompatibilitäts-Gedönse etc und es läuft tatsächlich!

    Aber ganz hab ich die Hoffnung für Blood 2 nicht aufgegeben, nur die Motivation für einen neuen Anlauf wird nicht grad mehr...

    GTA 1 krieg ich nicht zum Laufen. Ich habe aber auch gar kein CD-LW mehr. ^^

    Die Methode hat bei mir auf allen problematischen Rechnern bisher funktioniert:

    1. Install Blood 2 using the old fashioned individual GOG game installer, DON’T install through GOG Galaxy.

    2. Go to your control panel and go to Programs, then Programs and Features. Uninstall the entry with the name "GOG.com Blood 2." This is a compatibility mode GOG forces that screws up the game and prevents it from launching, so just get rid of it.

    3. Download the "Blood II - high resolution fix" from the PCGamingWiki website Blood 2 page. Extract the Client.exe from the archive and replace the Client.exe in your Blood 2 installation folder with it.

    4. Download dgvoodoo2 (I tested with the latest version as of this post, which is v 2.78, and it seems to work fine). Extract the files, and move the "dgVoodooCpl.exe" file and "dgVoodoo.conf" file to your Blood 2 installation folder. Go back to the extracted dgvoodoo2 archive. Open the "MS" folder, and then the "x86" folder. Move the files "D3DImm.dll" and "ddraw.dll" from that "x86" folder into your Blood 2 installation folder.

    5. Run the "dgVoodooCpl.exe" file in your Blood 2 installation folder, and under the DirectX tab, set whatever you want. You probably want to uncheck “dgVooDoo Watermark” and “Disable Alt-Enter.” You can set your desired resolution and anti-aliasing under the DirectX tab. I prefer to only use 4:3 resolutions and avoid all the widescreen fix stuff as it only seems to create more trouble. DO NOT BOTHER with the resolution setting in the Blood 2 launcher, ignore it completely and only set the resolution through dgVoodoo2.

    6. Run Blood 2. Choose Caleb. At some point in the first level, CREATE A SAVE (I’ll explain later why this is important). Close Blood 2.

    7. Download the Blood 2 Extra Crispy 6.1 mod. Follow the installation instructions.

    8. Run Blood 2 with Extra Crispy 6.1. Make sure you NEVER load the save you created in unmodded Blood 2 while running Extra Crispy. You should now be good to go.

    Without step 6, and instead going straight to step 7, Blood 2 would crash every single time I attempted to save the game, on two different machines. Only after I went through the whole installation process with step 6 added did it work.

    In welcher Auflösung hast du es denn gespielt?

    Um z. B. 1920x1080 einzustellen muß man ja in der Registry herum friemeln. Irgendwie will das bei mir aber nicht klappen. :pleading_face:

    Seufz. Hab die Anleitung genau befolgt, leider kein Erfolg.

    Vermutlich hab ich den Guide sogar schon mal probiert. Es ist immer das selbe: Ich komme bis in den Launcher, starte Blood 2 und nichts passiert :(

    Ok, das ist wirklich sehr strange ... vielleicht noch irgendwelche Reste irgendwo vorhanden oder irgendwelche fehlenden Redists. Auf LANs hätte ich jetzt meinen "how to setup"-Guide für den LAN-Rechner ausgehändigt und hätte gesagt: check das bitte erst alles einmal durch :D

    Hat vielleicht jemand eine alte GeForce aus der 7000/8000/9000er Serie rum kugeln ? :loool:

    Damit hats unter Windwos XP bei mir nie Probleme mit den Adventures gegeben... :pleading_face:


    Ach ja,"Operation Wintersonne" - die Videos - Die laufen natürlich NICHT unter Windows XP SP3 - Das Spiel schon aber ebenfalls nur schwarzer Bildschirm bei den Videos...aber mit der :shit: Onboard Intel HD im i5 Core (1.Generation,ich hab nix Älteres mehr rumkugeln...) Prozessor Lösung wunderts mich auch ned...

    Direct X,dann diese Codec Update(s),die den Spielen ja eh auf der CD beigelegt wurden,alles installiert.... ||
